Hambantota


Hambantota is a small fishing town and one of the best places to go for some quiet and relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of big tourist resorts. Situated about 240 kilometers away from Colombo, in the southern coastal regions of Sri Lanka, it has a natural beauty preserved through the ages. Form Hambantota it is easy to visit several wildlife parks, namely, Bundala National Park, Yala National Park and Uda Walawe National Park.

Bundala National park is a protected wetland area where many migratory birds come to visit and is a ornithologists paradise.
