Negombo

Negombo is situated in the western coast of Sri Lanka about 40 km or an hours trip north of Colombo. It is much closer to the Bandaranayaka International Airport and ideal for people who want to stay close to the airport. You can easily make excursions to other areas as well. The city is bordered by a lagoon which has diverse wildlife and helps sustain such industries as Prawn farming. The city itself is a charming town with modern amenities.
